FAQs


Do you customize each performance?

Yes! We recognize that every gig is different. Prior to your event, you will complete a questionnaire, and host a venue evaluation, so that we can fine-tune your playlist, lighting and special effects. We’ll create a timeline for your event, and pay attention to the details that make your event special.


Do you play country music, too?

We do. We can balance the music mix anyway that you wish. Our normal playlists are 3/4 rock and top 40, combined with 1/4 country, but DJQ is happy to adjust the mix to suite your taste.


We are a non-profit organization. Do you offer any discounts for non-profits?

Yes! The non-profit community is important to us. Please contact us using the Contact DJQ form to discuss discounts.


Do you bring fog, bubbles, or sparks?

Depending on the package you choose, and venue restrictions (many venues limit fog due to fire alarm concerns), we can bring fog, bubbles, or sparks.


Can I apply to be a part of the team?

Yes! We are always looking for staff to help set up, tear down, and provide security. Use the Contact DJQ form to express interest, and we’ll send you an application.


Do you travel outside the Bryan/College Station area?

Yes! We travel. Because of the added expense of leaving the area, there is an additional charge for taking DJQ on the road. Please see our rate sheet for for more information.


Do you take requests?

Yes! We love to play requested music as time permits.


How long do you play?

We require a two-hour minimum performance. For performances over two hours, DJQ will take a 15-minute break in the third hour. Our maximum show is four hours long.
